š§ Possible Causes
1. Installation Issues ā Fan Cable Pinched or Compressed
2. Damaged Laser Module Connection Cable
3. Fan Malfunction ā Hardware Damage
Please follow the steps to do trouble-shooting:
Power off the laser first for safety concerns!
Step 1. Remove the fan cover on the top.
- For 40Wļ¼ There are 3 screws in total need to take out, 2 on the top, 1 on the back of the laser module.
- For 20W: Use a screwdriver to remove the 4 screws on the top.
Step 2. Remove the fan's cover, don't disconnect the air tube.
Step 3. Power on the machine, Press and hold CTRL+Shift+P(command +shift+p for macOS), then click on "cooling System On" to check if the fan starts spinning.
If yes, that means the issue lies in the improper place of the air assist tube inside of the laser module, please follow the steps below:
1. adjust the height and length of the air tube inside of the laser module. Press it down a little bit.
2. Instead of putting the direction of the fan facing the lower left corner, you may install it towards the upper left corner to avoid the poor contact caused by twisting of the fan connection wire. Note: Ensure the sticker side facing downwards.

2. Remove the laser module fan and check for any damage. Damaged laser fan connector, damaged fan wire, for example.
