Tumblers are more than just beverage containers, they are a canvas waiting to be customized. In this guide, we’ll explore the art of achieving full wrap designs—from concept to execution. Let’s dive in! 🌟
1. Non-Working Area
Each time you use the rotary set, you might notice the non-working area shown on the canvas after putting in the perimeter.
Pleae note: the Non-working area is set up that way to protect the laser head from hitting the left side frame and laser burning the chuck.
Though this area cannot be deleted, there are several ways to adjust the working area. For example, a jig, a ring attachment can be used to extend the piece out.
In ths way, the working area as shown below in the red box can be adjusted towards the center.
2. 360°-1080° fully wrapped engraving on a Tumbler
With the rotary attachment that comes with the package, you can easily achieve 360°-1080° engraving on a tumbler.
Here I start using a piece with the parameter of 210mm.
- Multiple Designs to be Fully Wrapped on a Tumbler.
- For example, I wanna several butterflies to be engraved on the piece for 360°. After adjusting the size and parameters settings, 4 butterflies in total are needed to ensure the width of the design is equivalent to the perimeter of the tumbler.
-
- In the same manner, If you wanna 720°, 8 butterflies with the same size will be needed, which means the width of the whole design should be 2 times of the perimeter of the tumbler. Select all of the 8 designs and rotate.
- If you wanna 1080°, then the width of the design should be 3 times of the perimeter of the tumbler, which means 12 butterflies in total will be needed to acheive the ideal results.
- Single Design to be Fully Wrapped on a Tumbler
- Similar to multiple designs, if you wanna 360° engraving, the width of this design should be euqivalent to the perimeter of the tumbler.
- If you wanna 720°,ensure the width of the design is 2 times of the perimeter of the Tumbler, and rotate it. If you wanna 1080°, the width of the design should be 3 times of the perimeter of the tumbler.
