The WeCreat Vision's enclosure will rise up automatically every time after it is powered on or finishes the laser task. Sometimes, you may want to lower it down for stock or transport purposes. Here, let me show you how to do that via the software WeCreat MakeIt! (feature available on software version 0.0.5 or higher).
Step 1. Connect the WeCreat Vision to your computer via USB or Wi-Fi.
Step 2. Please open the software WeCreat MakeIt!.
Step 3. Click on Settings in the top menu. You will see the options for lowering the device.
In Idle mode, it will lower to the height which the laser head is very close to the laser bed. You need to clear the laser bed and ensure there are no other objects on the laser bed to avoid cause damage to the laser head. Normally, if you just keep this machine on your workbench and won't pack it, please choose Idle mode.
In Transportation mode, the machine will lower down to the factory position so that you can well pack it. The laser head will be even lower than where the laser bed is. So please make sure you have removed everything, including any materials and the laser bed.
After you have selected the mode you want and removed the corresponding required things, please tick the reminders and click Confirm. Then the WeCreat Vision will lower down to the selected height.
