How to Update Software:
1. Manual Updates: If a new version is released, a prompt will pop up when you open the software. You can click the update button to automatically start downloading the new software package. Once the download is complete, you can click on the installation package to install it.
You can also choose not to update and directly close the pop-up window by clicking X icon in the upper right corner. However, the pop-up will appear every time you open the software.
2. Check for Updates Within the Software: Many applications have a “Check for Updates” option within the software, which, when clicked, automatically checks for new versions and guides the user through the update process.
When updating software, it’s advisable to back up important data first to prevent potential data loss during the update process. Also, ensure you understand the update contents before proceeding, to make the most of the improvements or new features introduced in the new version.
