We have preset three different modes to help you quickly set the laser power and speed to match the pattern and material you have designed.
If you mainly engrave patterns or text on the material, it is recommended that you choose Engrave mode. When you choose the Engrave mode, the pattern's outline turns into orange.
If you need to divide the material into different modules following the pattern outline, please select Cut mode. When you choose the Cut mode, the pattern's outline turns into red.
If you need to fill an entire area with dense engraving, please select Fill Engrave. And the whole area to be filled will turns into blue.
Check the example below, from the first picture you can see we have selected three modes for the three lines of texts, as their outlines are in different colors. And the second picture is what we finally get on a 3 mm basswood based on the settings of the first picture.
*Note: In Bitmap mode, you cannot choose Fill/Engrave/Cut mode anymore, but you can adjust the laser speed and power. The machine will intelligently engrave based on the image and parameters you select to achieve the best performance.
