When using the WeCreat Lumos Ultra 6W UV Laser with the Conveyor for batch processing, please pay attention to the following requirements to ensure stable and consistent engraving results.
1. Materials that may not be recognized or may cause recognition failure
- Materials with a color very similar to the conveyor belt.
- Highly reflective materials
- Materials that are too thick (The captured image shows the side faces or shadows of the materials)
- Small perforated metal materials (Less than 10 mm in length and width)
- Hollow materials
- Non-solid-color materials
- Materials without a fixed shape (such as a necklace or a chain)
- Materials with uneven surfaces (such as spoons)
- Materials with complex shapes and small sizes (Less than 10 mm in length and width)
2. Material size and shape requirements
- Materials with a flat and stable surface.
- Materials in the same batch with similar dimensions and thickness.
- Material size should be suitable for the Conveyor working area.
3. Material placement requirements
- Use only one type of material at a time, do not mix different materials in the same batch.
- Place materials in the same direction, consistent placement can improve recognition accuracy and reduce processing failures.
- Keep enough spacing between individual pieces to allow the camera system to recognize each object correctly.
- Avoid overlapping or touching materials, as this may affect identification.
- For batch engraving, it is recommended to use materials with the same shape and engraving position.
- If the thickness of the material exceeds 4 mm, please place the material on the upper part of the processing area. Adjust the position of the material to avoid shadows or side faces appearing on the captured image.
4. Lighting requirements
Proper lighting conditions are important for accurate camera recognition.
- Avoid insufficient lighting, if the processing area is too dark and the camera cannot clearly capture the material edges, recognition may fail.
- Avoid excessive lighting, strong external lighting may cause reflections, glare, or overexposure, which can affect recognition accuracy.
If recognition issues occur, you can adjust the lighting conditions by:
- Adjusting the brightness of the machine's internal LED light.
- Adjusting the surrounding environmental lighting.
- Lowering the machine lid slightly to block excessive external light.
5. Recommended batch production materials
For the best conveyor workflow, recommended materials include:
- Name tags
- Acrylic signs
- Jewelry tags
- Phone cases
- Keychains
- Leather patches
- Product labels
- Promotional items
- Small personalized gifts
The ideal batch materials should have:

Important Note
Batch processing efficiency depends greatly on material consistency. The more uniform the materials are, the more accurate and stable the automatic identifying and engraving results will be.
If the conveyor surface is dirty or scratched by the laser beam, these marks may interfere with material recognition. Especially when the material overlaps with the marks, the software may mistakenly identify the marks as part of the material.
